SLMC’s purpose is to offer excellence in the proper development and management of senior living communities. By developing and implementing superior standards, we provide residents and their families the assurance of professionally trained and caring staff members, economic stability and quality of services offered. SLMC serves both smaller and larger communities, yet each offers intimacy, personal attention and hospitality similar to that found in a resort.
In 1999, SLMC opened its first Assisted Living Residence in Bartow, Florida licensed for 36 residents. The smaller communities have proven so successful that SLMC now operates 16 similar models throughout Florida and Georgia. In addition, SLMC operates 7 communities that are larger in size, with our largest licensed for 200 residents. Of these communities, two offer a continuum of care including specialized nursing and rehabilitation services on-site in the licensed skilled nursing facility. |
SLMC is also a leader in providing Alzheimer’s and dementia care. In our secure memory care communities we serve the needs of senior adults who have experienced various levels of memory loss. Memory Care residents need and deserve special support and services complimented by stimulated activities and daily programming.
